Geoffrey Bestor brings a unique combination of litigation expertise and time-tested judgment to legal disputes. He is a former Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice and served as a federal prosecutor in Washington, D.C. for more than seven years. He served from 2007 to 2009 as Staff Director of the Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee of the U.S. House Committee on Veterans Affairs. Mr. Bestor has tried more than fifty cases to jury verdict and argued over twenty appeals before federal and state appellate courts. He has fifteen years experience as a big law firm litigator and currently has his own practice. Mr. Bestor routinely partners with other firms, large and small, for matters requiring additional resources.
Mr. Bestor is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and the state of New York. He has represented clients in federal and state courts throughout the country.
